I just finished assistant directing Alice in Wonderland with some of my best friends this past weekend and it's really put an impact on me. For one thing, you can't work with 37 kids for over a month and not be changed in some way or another. Honestly, this is an experience like no other. I also assistant directed last summer and the same thing. I'm shocked everyday I go to rehearsal at how talented these kids are. So many of them have a great potential to do things and go places. Perhaps even further and greater than my own self.
They always find something new to keep me amazed and the great thing about still being a teen, is that I can work with them, but at the end of the day or during a break we can have some fun. We can wait in line for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 for 6 hours. We can play hide n' seek for an hour before places for the show. There isn't any other way I'd rather spend my days.
Except that it's over. My days spending time with them are spent. Show's over. Everybody is off doing whatever while I return to a quiet home, besides the occasional barking sprees, and do nothing. Aside from having a blast and putting on a show, it just kept me busy and gave me something to do with my life. Lucky for me, it's something I love to do and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. I suppose I could start making regular YouTube videos again, but honestly I'm just not in the right state of things to keep making videos at this time. That's not to say that I'm not attempting to edit a video/song of me heading to Wonderland, both for viewers and some of my little friends to see.
I like to say that the Wizarding World is my true home, but for now, I'm still wandering the many wonders of Wonderland.

Wrock Keeps Us Together
Hello...umm...no, I don't need to hear about how BEDA didn't happen and I have no intentions on making up for that. However, I'm back to writing blogs. Hopefully. So, what was the last thing I really posted. Ah, that's right! Wrock! So why not pick up on that same topic. A couple weeks ago I went to a wizard rock concert in a library near Chicago. Although Wrock Wreggies was like nothing else, to me, this was so much more of a special occasion.
I was able to spend it with a group of my best and closest friends these days. That's something I couldn't do the last time. It was the happiest I've been in a long time. We talked the whole way there and the whole way back. I hope Wrock is around a long time from now to keep these happy time alive and to give us a form of Potter to enjoy as the bittersweet end to the books and movies of Harry Potter. It's amazing how a little music about an unforgettable story can bring friends together and have such a good time. This fandom really is something special.
